Washington DC Kids Yoga Camp | Summer & School Days Off

They'll come home exhausted. They'll want to go back tomorrow.

Ask a kid what they did at yoga camp and you'll get a very full answer. The trapeze. The field trip. The art project that took all afternoon. The friend they made on day one who they're still talking about in September.

Breathing Space camp is small, intentional, and genuinely fun — the kind of fun that comes from a full day of movement, creativity, and outdoor time led by people who actually love working with kids. Yoga is woven throughout, but it's not the whole story. Every day includes games, crafts, outdoor time, and free play alongside structured yoga and mindfulness activities. Children leave with real tools — focus, self-regulation, body awareness — and most of them have no idea they were learning anything.

That's the point.

Week-long camps for rising K–4th graders — and select weeks for older elementary and rising middle schoolers. Yoga, Yoga Trapeze, field trips, crafts, outdoor time, and aftercare available. Running most weeks June through August on Capitol Hill.

One- or multi-day camps for K–4th graders on DCPS professional development and conference days. Same yoga, games, crafts, and outdoor time as summer camp — sized for a single day and available throughout the school year.

What Our Families Say

We've done classes and camps since my kids were infants. My kids love the multiple activities that they do at camp . . . and they are exhausted when they come home at night.  Jen and all the staff are incredibly caring and fun. It's a great place to send my kids knowing they are in good hands and doing activities that help them learn and grow and stretch their bodies. We enjoy it a ton.

I like my daughter being active, having fun with her friends, and she comes home and teaches me yoga poses.  The people here are awesome and loving and they teach my daughter great things. They always seem to have fun activities planned for her even on days when she thinks there is nothing left to do on earth.
