Collage of images from summer camp, baby yoga, kids yoga, and toddler yoga, family yoga Washington DC

From newborns to adults. From first poses to flying trapeze.

Breathing Space has been a yoga home for Capitol Hill families since 2013 — for babies who came to their first class before they could sit up, for parents who found their practice in a prenatal class and never left, and for kids who started in toddler yoga and grew up into camp counselors. Whatever stage you're in, there's a class here for you.

What our Students Say

We love the toddler yoga class. Jen is wonderful at illustrating, in very creative ways, how to do complex things like control ones breath, balance, and stretch. Her games, songs, stories, and gentle presence helped my shy son open up. This is a great way to teach them proprioceptive skills even at a very young age.
